Refund & Returns Policy

At Art School Records Store by Ahst 131 LLC, we want you to feel confident about every purchase. This policy explains exactly how returns, refunds, and exchanges work in clear terms, including eligibility, timelines, and the step-by-step process.


1) Scope of This Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to orders purchased through our website and delivered within the United States.


2) Return Request Window

You may request a return within 20 days of:

  • the delivery date (for shipped orders), or

  • the purchase date shown on your receipt (if applicable)

Requests submitted after 20 days are not eligible.


3) What We Accept (Eligibility Rules)

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective items, subject to the conditions below.

A) Non-Defective Items (Changed Mind / Not Needed)

To be eligible, items must be:

  • new and unused

  • unassembled (if applicable)

  • returned in the original packaging

  • include all parts, manuals, and accessories

B) Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, we will take care of it even if the product has been opened. Please:

  • keep the original packaging

  • provide clear photos of the issue so we can verify and resolve quickly

Proof of Purchase Required

A valid order confirmation, receipt, or order number is required for all return requests.

Not Returnable (Unless Defective)

The following items are not returnable unless they are defective upon arrival:

  • custom-made or special-order items

  • gift cards


4) How to Start a Return (Mail Returns Only)

All returns are handled by mail only.

  1. Email [email protected] with:

    • your order number

    • a short explanation of the return request

    • photos (required for damage/defect claims)

  2. If your return is approved, we will email you a prepaid return label (download + print).

  3. Pack the item securely (preferably in the original packaging), attach the label, and drop it off with the carrier shown on the label.

Return shipping is free and no restocking fees are charged.


5) Exchanges (Mail Only)

Yes, exchanges are available by mail.

  • To request an exchange, follow the same return initiation steps above.

  • Exchange requests for non-defective reasons must meet the same condition:
    new/unused + original packaging + all components included

Price differences:

  • If the replacement item costs more, you pay the difference.

  • If the replacement item costs less, we refund the difference to your original payment method.


6) Refund Processing

After we receive your returned item:

  • We inspect returns within 2–3 business days

  • Once approved, we process the refund within 5 business days to the original payment method

Your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the refund.


7) Important Notes

  • Returns sent without initiating the process first may be delayed or rejected.

  • Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or holidays are not refundable unless the product arrives damaged.

  • For non-defective returns, missing original packaging may result in the return being declined if the item cannot be resold as new.
